"I was at a party called "Psyduck", attended by about 60 people, held at the same time as the big party, Nova”, says Yael. 

"At half past six in the morning, we heard rockets shooting. We stopped the music immediately. People fled. We don't know what happened to them. We kept hearing alarms in the distance, shots, so we took cover. Once we had helped the organizers of the party fold the equipment, we started receiving messages about what was happening in Kibbutz Reim.”

“We hid for about 9 hours, until 5:00 PM, and only reached our car near Magen at 3:00 in the morning. We don't know what happened to the other people, they're all unreachable." 

"One of the people who attended the party is said to have been kidnapped to Gaza. Some attendants went looking for their friends." 

While escaping, Yael saw a scene of horror: "bodies were scattered in the field, there were gunshots. Today, I understand that whoever ran into the road was murdered."

"We called the police, who told us about the terrorist attack. We gave them our location. From “Havat Hayaen”, about a kilometer away, we managed to escape to Be'er Sheva. We found the police along the way, and flashed them so they wouldn't shoot us."
